Product Description:
OP850 provides a very effective solution for measuring the insertion loss (IL) of multiple fiber optic cables or ribbon cables with MTP or MXC components. By using continuous wave (CW) sources of single-mode (SM) or multi-mode (MM) wavelengths and highly repeatable optical switches, insertion loss (IL) can be measured quickly and accurately. The system can be customized for multiple wavelengths, including 4 to 24 channels.

  • High-speed USB interface for communication
  • The cable test software OPL-MAX can be used to write the measurement data directly into the spreadsheet
