新发布的U3741是U3700（8GHz/31.8GHz/43GHz频谱仪）系列中的新成员。测试频率范围是9kHz～3GHz，测试速度比以前的型号（R3131A）提高了2倍，综合电平精度从以前的产品±1.5dB提高到±0.8dB@1GHz。在无线设备的性能评价方面，可以进行高速的且具有高精度的传送功率测试，生产线的效率可以大幅提高。该产品具有U3700系列的同样的设计特性，便携式的筐体（是R3131A的1/2），可拆卸式电池可连续工作2小时。另外U3741具有输入阻抗75Ω功能（选件），是包括数字电视地面接受问题在内的电磁环境分析的佳工具。
这一低成本、通用型的频谱分析仪，每一项性能指标都比以前被广泛采用的R3131A有很大的提高，而其价格几乎保持在同样的水平，必将得到需要降低设备成本的厂商的赏识。
