Product Overview:
The N8482A from Keysight Technologies is a thermocouple power sensor with EEPROM feature. This device is a high accuracy thermocouple power sensor that allows direct measurement of RF or microwave power through the heating effect it has on a terminating load. All calibration data for the power sensor is stored in EEPROM and is downloaded to the power meter when the sensor is connected. The N8482A power sensor is used for measuring the average power supplied by an RF or microwave source or a device-under- test (DUT). In use, the power sensor is connected to the RF or microwave source and to a compatible power meter.
