Anritsu MT8860C is the only WLAN tester on the market that can test WLAN devices in network mode and direct mode according to the IEEE 802.11 standard.
The MT8860C integrated comprehensive tester is dedicated to the testing of 802.11 WLAN devices. The high-speed measurement solution provided by the tester is not only suitable for production testing, but also for design verification.
MT8860C replaces the existing test system that usually requires a power meter, spectrum analyzer and Gold Radio (equipped with an external attenuator). Therefore, MT8860C can be quickly integrated into the production line, providing a common solution for all WLAN chipsets, making maintenance and calibration easier. MT8860C also reduces the cost of the test system, improves the production throughput and is the most flexible WLAN test solution.
MT8860C provides two operation modes: network mode and direct mode. "Network" mode uses standard WLAN signaling, which can be used to test the transmitter and receiver of the DUT. In the "direct" mode, the MT8860C can test the DUT receiver by generating and transmitting WLAN data packets, and test the DUT transmitter with its built-in transmitter analyzer. In the "direct" mode, the DUT must be controlled using the test mode software utility provided by the chipset manufacturer. The user interface is operated through the provided LANLook software data package. LANLook runs on a standard PC. The instrument configuration and result display interface is a traditional Windows® system interface, and the result display method adopts a clear digital and graphic display. LANLook communicates with MT8860C through GPIB interface.
